In this work, the following materials are taken as the basis:

2.1. Materials of the manufacturing plant (PO "Elektrosila"):

- Independent thyristor excitation system of STN-640-4200 type (Technical description and operating instructions);

- Automatic excitation regulator ARV-SDP1 (Technical description);

- Data sheets for the TVV-800-2Uz type turbogenerator;

- Set of diagrams.

2.2. Technical report on commissioning of the thyristor excitation system of the TVV-800 turbogenerator at Surgut GRES-2 ("Uraltechenergo").
