This work examines the issues of the dynamics of the excitation system of the TVV-800 turbogenerator (with ARV-SDP1) manufactured by PO "Elektrosila". An assumption is made that the turbogenerator operates into an infinite busbar system (system of infinite capacity).
The following issues are considered:
1. Static stability of the control system under small disturbances;
2. Dynamic stability of the control system under large disturbances;
3. Stability of the control system during operation in a power system.
The analysis is carried out using:
- a block diagram in which the connections between individual elements of the control system are mathematically reflected using the transfer functions of these elements;
- logarithmic amplitude-frequency characteristics of the control system without solving the characteristic equations.
